1) HOME RENOVATION TAX CREDIT
The home renovation tax credit applies to eligible home renovations for the period January 27, 2009 through January 31, 2010.
In order to claim the credit, the following form should be filled out and taken to your Accountant with the rest of your personal tax information. Ensure all receipts are held should the Canada Revenue Agency request them.

2) HARMONIZED SALES TAX
The new Harmonized Sales Tax comes into effect July 1, 2010.
The new tax combines the current BC PST and federal GST for a single tax of 12%.
